Emergency RN
Position Summary To provide patient care using the nursing process, to maintain a safe environment, to provide patient and family education, and to facility order entry and appropriate patient charges. General Responsibility Formally responsible for making recommendations regarding policies associated with the job's purpose and essential responsibilities. Triages patients, determines all aspects of nursing care, and administers medications and treatments appropriately. Requirements 1 year Med/Surg or ER experience. Knowledge of nursing process, critical care, medications and treatments, growth and development, disease processes, anatomy and physiology. Good communication skills; auscultation, palpation, and IV skills; time management skills; ability to utilize and interpret emergency equipment.
