House Supervisor
Position SummaryTo ensure delivery of quality patient care by planning, organizing and directing the oversight for the night shift activities of the hospital nursing department and promoting a sense of teamwork between all night shift employees to support Cass Regional's mission statement. General Responsibility Formally responsible for making recommendations regarding policies associated with the job's purpose and essential responsibilities. Determine if staffing is adequate; determine if physicians and administration need notified immediately; prioritizing tasks. Provides emergent and urgent assistance to staff. Provide positive & negative feedback to employees and administration. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Requirements Hospital policies and procedures; state and federal laws regarding patient care and nursing practice, physician treatment preference, human anatomy and physiology, disease process, available resources for patient care and job performance, equipment performance and function. Techniques of nursing care, patient care, personnel management; ability to use a computer and computerized documentation systems. Two- to four-year RN degree, BSN preferred.
