Physical Therapist
Position Summary Responsible for care, safety and well being of the patients during assigned acts, and for observing all necessary precautions and procedures in use of equipment to prevent injury to the patient. Responsible for carrying out treatment in accordance with the physician's prescription and for observing all required hospital patients. Responsible for care of equipment, economical use of supplies, linens, utilities and cleanliness of the department area. General Responsibility Evaluate , plan, direct and administer physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physicain. Administer treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Formulate a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluate the effectiveness of learning. Requirements Current state Physical Therapy licensure; graduate of an approved school of physical therapy or graduate of accredited college or university with a certificate in physical therapy.
