Diabetes Education

Our goal is to help patients with diabetes learn how to best care for themselves, manage their diabetes, and live life to the fullest. Our Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME) program teaches patients how to monitor and manage their diabetes through diet and medication, and how to administer medications such as insulin. Our DSME program is recognized by the American Diabetes Association, is Medicare- and Medicaid-approved, and is covered by most insurances. A doctor's referral is not required; patients may self-refer to the DSME program.

A diabetes support group is available on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Meetings are held in Cass Regional's Conference Rooms 2 & 3 and begin at 6:30 p.m. Please check the event calendar for more information.
