Intensive Care UnitAt Cass Regional Medical Center, our four-bed Intensive Care Unit is staffed and designed to provide specialized treatment of life-threatening injury or illness. Our goal is to provide a high level of care, utilizing the latest technological advancements in nursing, medicine and available resources.
The Intensive Care Unit provides diagnosis, treatment and support for pediatric and adult patients admitted for acute, chronic, stable or unstable conditions.
The ICU staff has advanced training in the care and assessment of the critically ill or injured patient. Nursing staff work with the patient's physician to provide treatment in a timely, safe and compassionate manner. Each patient room includes emergency equipment, patient monitoring equipment, and numerous other features to aid the patient's treatment and recovery.
