Meet Our Staff
Jill Slade, RN, CCRN, is Cass Regional's ICU manager. Slade has over 10 years of nursing experience. She is a registered nurse in the state of Missouri and is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and has completed the Trauma Nurse Core Course.
The Intensive Care Unit is staffed with registered nurses who are certified in BLS and ACLS. Staff members are also certified in PALS and have attended specialty classes such as the Trauma Nurse Core Course and S.T.A.B.L.E. (a neonatal education program for the care of critically ill infants). Nurses have also received education specific to critical care. Certified nurse assistants, under the direction of an ICU nurse, assist in patient care and provide administrative support. Registered nurses are under the direction of a registered nurse manager, physician medical director and an ICU Committee.
