ProceduresCass Regional's Laboratory, under the supervision of a pathologist, offers a wide variety of outpatient testing including CBC, APPT, PT (Pro Time), lipid, glucose, alcohol, TSH, PSA, ABO/RH type, type and screen, pregnancy testing, strep screens, influenza A&B, RSV, and mono. The Lab also offers urine drug screen testing for contracted clients only.
In order to have outpatient Lab testing, patients must obtain a written order from their doctor's office or have their doctor's office contact our Laboratory. Please check with your insurance carrier to make sure your Lab test costs will be covered if you come to Cass Regional. Some companies have contracts with specific laboratories, which may require you to be seen in one of their facilities. To check in, patients must present their identification and insurance cards to our Patient Access Department, and then they will be directed to the Laboratory.
