Medical/Surgical UnitOur Medical/Surgical Unit is a 21-bed unit that provides treatment, support and services to hospitalized patients of all ages, from children to senior adults. Our experienced staff is made up of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nurse assistants and ward secretaries. All of our registered nurses are certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support. In addition, all nursing personnel receive continuing education specific to the Medical/Surgical area so that they can provide the best care to patients. Special training includes telemetry cardiac monitoring, which allows nursing personnel on the Medical/Surgical Unit to interpret patient cardiac rhythms. |
