Speech Therapy At Cass Regional Medical Center, a licensed speech-language pathologist provides evaluations and rehabilitation services for children and adults in such areas as speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders. In many cases, deficits are caused by traumatic, neurological, degenerative, pulmonary and congenital/development conditions. Specific services of videofluoroscopic swallow studies and Vital Stim therapy for the treatment of swallowing disorders is available.
Cass Regional's speech-language pathologist, Nora Dahman MS, CCC-SLP, sees patients Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on weekends as available. Dahman received her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Mo.
