Meet Our Staff

Sherry Proch, RN, BSN, CNOR, is Cass Regional's Surgery and GI/Pain Management Clinic nurse manager. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from University of Kansas School of Nursing. She has over 22 years of experience in the operating room. She is certified in BSL, ACLS and PALS.

Kristi Schnorf-McCullyCRNA, is a certified registered nurse anesthetist with over 15 years of experience. Schnorf-McCully received her bachelor of science in nursing from William Jewel College, her master of arts degree in biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and her diploma as a nurse anesthetist from Truman Medical Center School of Nurse Anesthesia. 

The GI/Pain Management nursing staff includes:
Linda Strickfaden, RN, who has over 27 years of nursing experience. She received her nursing degree from Blessed Hospital in Quincy, Ill. She is certified in ACLS.

Sheryl Knox, RN, has over 21 years of nursing experience. She obtained her nursing degree from Penn Valley Community College. She is certified in BLS, ACLS and PALS.

Cass Regional Medical Center's Surgery Department staff consists of certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, operating room technicians and nurses assistants. All licensed Surgery personnel must be current in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and demonstrate a competency in asepsis. All of our registered nurses are also current in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Our staff members operate under the direction of a nursing supervisor and a medical director.
