Kasandra Blevins, payroll clerk, was named Cass Regional Medical Center's Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2018. Chief Executive Officer Chris Lang made the announcement Friday, February 8, during a reception.
“I was surprised and honored to have been nominated and chosen,” Blevins said.
Blevins, who has been a Cass Regional employee for four years, was nominated by fellow employees at Cass Regional. Blevins was selected as the Employee of the Quarter for positively representing Cass Regional’s mission and vision.
The nomination letter described Blevins as cheerful, prompt and very pleasant to work with. “She is always helpful, kind and pleasant to all Cass Regional employees.”
Blevins said the best part about working at Cass Regional is the friendly atmosphere we have here. “I thoroughly enjoy the people/co-workers I work with on a daily basis,” said Blevins. Before coming to work at Cass Regional, Blevins worked for Country Mart in Butler for 21 years.
Blevins resides in Butler with her husband, Bob, and their two daughters, Gabrielle and Courtney. In her spare time, she likes to read, spend time outdoors and be with her family.
As Employee of the Quarter, Blevins received a paid day off, a designated parking space for the quarter, an Employee of the Quarter pin, an Employee of the Quarter crystal star award, a cake and balloons.
