Coronavirus (COVID-19)

In order to reduce the spread of respiratory illnesses and protect our patients, visitors and staff, we have initiated new visitor policies. Please review before visiting loved ones.

New Visitor Policies:

Effective: Wednesday, March 18, at 8 a.m. until further notice

To help reduce the spread of respiratory illness, Cass Regional Medical Center has restricted all non-essential visitors. We will allow exceptions for:

  • One dedicated parent/caregiver for minor or mentally disabled patients who cannot be left alone
  • One dedicated caregiver/driver for outpatient surgery and/or outpatient testing
  • One dedicated caregiver/driver for Emergency Department or clinic visits
  • One dedicated family member or caregiver for patients where end of life care is being given

Please note that any individual granted an exception who screens positive will not be allowed in our facilities.

We understand that this policy is difficult for patients and visitors. However, we must make these new restrictions out of an abundance of caution to keep our patients and caregivers as safe as possible.

New Main Entrance Hours:

Monday - Friday from 6 a.m. through 5 p.m., closed on the weekends.

For more information on what Cass Regional is doing to keep our patients and community safe during the COVID-19 outbreak, please visits our updates from March 12, March 17, March 19 and March 23.
