Cass Regional Medical Center Expands Access to Mental Health Care with New TelePsych Services
Harrisonville, MO — September 24, 2025 — Cass Regional Medical Center is proud to announce the launch of its new TelePsych services at the Pleasant Hill Medical Clinic, beginning October 1, 2025.
This innovative program expands access to quality mental health care by offering psychiatric services through secure telemedicine technology. Appointments will be available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, giving patients greater flexibility and reducing barriers to care.
TelePsych services will be led by Dr. Lauro Amezcua-Patino, a highly regarded psychiatrist with more than 35 years of clinical and hospital experience. Board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Amezcua-Patino specializes in comprehensive psychiatric care for adolescents, adults, and seniors.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is committed to breaking down barriers to care and providing culturally sensitive, compassionate treatment. His patient-centered approach emphasizes accessibility and collaboration, guiding individuals toward mental wellness and resilience.

Dr. Amezcua-Patino welcomes patients ages 12 and older, including adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors.
