Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation Awards Scholarships
Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation recently awarded the Sonny and Toni Wiseman Scholarship to two area students who are pursuing health care careers.
Sydney Berry of Clinton, Missouri, works as a licensed practical nurse in the Mills Cancer and Rheumatology Center at Cass Regional. She is attending State Fair Community College with a career goal of becoming a registered nurse.
Sheynacy Curran of Harrisonville, Missouri, works full time as a phlebotomist at Cass Regional. She is attending Metropolitan Community College with a career goal of becoming a registered nurse.
Curran and Berry each received a $500 award, which was made possible by a donation from Sonny and Toni Wiseman. Toni Wiseman is a member of the Cass Regional Medical Center board of trustees.
Since its start in 1989, Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation has awarded 205 scholarships totaling over $225,000, which have helped nearly 200 individuals achieve their educational goals.
