Participants received hands-on experience in a variety of settings, including emergency, radiology, therapy and surgery. They competed in physical therapy relay races, tested breathing skills with pulmonology machines, met with local emergency personnel, and practiced suturing and surgical procedures.

Each participant received a shirt and scrub pants to wear on day two. After completing the class, students received a certificate of completion.
