Cass Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Jay Sebelien, MBA, BSN, RN, as its new chief nursing officer (CNO), effective September 20. He replaces current CNO, Twila Buckner, who is retiring after more than 12 years of service to the organization.

Sebelien earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from William Jewell College and his Master of Business Administration degree from Benedictine College.

He previously worked for the Surgicenter of Johnson County where he spent 14 years as its administrator, chief executive officer, and ethics and compliance officer.
