Erickson Named Employee of the Quarter at Cass Regional Medical Center
Alex Erickson, technology support technician in Information Services, was named Cass Regional Medical Center's Employee of the Quarter award for the first quarter of 2018. Chief Executive Officer Chris Lang made the announcement Wednesday, May 9, during a reception.
“I was very surprised and flattered, but mainly surprised,” Erickson said.
Erickson, who has been a Cass Regional employee since February of 2017, was nominated by several employees at Cass Regional. Erickson was selected as the Employee of the Quarter for positively representing Cass Regional’s mission and vision.
One nomination letter described Erickson as dedicated, cheerful and always prompt. “He is always willing to help out others without a complaint. He appears to love his job and is great at it. He is a great asset to the IS department and Cass Regional in general.”
Erickson said the best part about working at Cass Regional is that everyone is friendly and it is a nice environment. Before coming to work at Cass Regional, Erickson did freelance work creating websites.
Erickson resides in Harrisonville. In his spare time, he likes to hike.
As Employee of the Quarter, Erickson received a paid day off, a designated parking space for the quarter, an Employee of the Quarter pin, an Employee of the Quarter crystal star award, a cake and balloons.
