Friesz Named Employee of the Quarter at Cass Regional Medical Center
Ginger Friesz, clinical coordinator, surgery, was recently named Cass Regional Medical Center's Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2023. Chief Executive Officer Chris Lang made the announcement during a reception.
“It was a total shock,” said Friesz regarding the recognition. “I am honored that a co-worker took the time to recognize me.”
Friesz, who has worked at Cass Regional for 23 years, was nominated by a peer. She was selected as the Employee of the Quarter for positively representing Cass Regional’s mission and vision.
The nomination letter described Friesz as kind, dedicated and hard-working. “She treats others with kindness and makes every effort to accommodate patients’ needs any way she can.”
Friesz said the best part about working at Cass Regional is the people – patients and co-workers. “I have the best co-workers/staff ever,” she said.
Friesz lives in Harrisonville, she has three sons and five grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys going on adventures with her grandchildren, camping, teaching kids to sew, and spending time with her family.
As Employee of the Quarter, Friesz received a paid day off, a designated parking space for the quarter, an Employee of the Quarter pin, a cake and flowers.
