Fundraiser Raises Funds for X-ray Equipment
Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation hosted Run for the Roses, a fundraising dinner and auction, on Thursday, May 2, at Loch Lloyd Country Club in Belton. Approximately $59,000 was raised at the event, and proceeds will help fund new X-ray equipment for Cass Regional Medical Center.
Approximately 160 guests attended the event and had the opportunity to bid on 20 silent auction items and 3 live auction items, as well as participate in a 50/50 raffle.
The emcee of the event was Rich Linden, a nationally-known event host and DJ. The welcome was given by Ed Roberts, Foundation board president, and the invocation was given by T.R. Hoefle, Foundation board member.
Commerce Bank was the presenting sponsor.
