Parrish is awarded Employee of the Quarter
Harrisonville, MO – Cass Regional Medical Center recently announced the winner of the Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2025. Patty Land, Assistant Administrator of Practice Management & Ancillary Services, announced that Erin Parrish, MLS(ASCP)cm, was selected as the Employee of the Quarter during a reception at the hospital on January 28.
Parrish, who works full-time as a lead clinical laboratory scientist, was nominated for the award by a coworker who wrote: “She continually puts our department as a priority and works extra or stays late as last-minute needs pop up... while she was on vacation, our department was hit with COVID. Erin gave up Christmas Day with her family at the last minute to cover so her coworkers Christmas plans wouldn’t be ruined. She does this anytime she can to keep coworkers from being adversely affected.”
Parrish began working PRN at Cass Regional in August 2021. “The small town feel and work family balance was a good fit for me…I really liked how Cass gave back to the community and showed appreciation to the employees.”
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has two children who and three dogs that keep her and her husband busy, and she loves to spend time with her parents. At her reception, Parrish’s parents came to surprise her.
“When I learned that I was employee of the quarter, I was honored to be recognized. Being nominated and hearing such kind words means so much,” she said about the award.
As Employee of the Quarter, Parrish receives a designated parking space for the quarter, a paid day off of work and an Employee of the Quarter pin. She is also nominated for 2025 Employee of the Year.
