Politte Named Employee of the Quarter at Cass Regional Medical Center
Hannah Politte, buyer, was named Cass Regional Medical Center's Employee of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2021. Chief Executive Officer Chris Lang made the announcement Tuesday, May 4.
“I was very surprised,” said Politte regarding the recognition. “It took me a few seconds to comprehend that Chris Lang actually said my name.”
Politte, who has worked at Cass Regional for eight years, was nominated by a fellow employee. She was selected as the Employee of the Quarter for positively representing Cass Regional’s mission and vision.
The nomination letter described Politte as kind, positive and helpful. “Hannah always asks how she can help, jumps in wherever she is needed. She is a very positive and pleasant person to be around!”
Politte said there are many reasons why she loves working at Cass Regional Medical Center. “The best part about working at Cass Regional is working with great people in a clean environment,” said Politte. “I like everything about my job! Mostly interacting with people, purchase orders, the research and bringing in new products.”
Politte attended Fort Scott Community College. She started in Environmental Services at Cass Regional, moved to Central Services as a tech and recently was promoted to buyer in Materials Management.
Politte lives on a small farm in Rich Hill. In her spare time, she likes to fish, hunt, ride horses and spend quality time with friends, family and her dog Scout.
As Employee of the Quarter, Politte receives a paid day off, a designated parking space for the quarter, an Employee of the Quarter pin, a cake and balloons.
