San Nicolas Named Employee of the Quarter at Cass Regional Medical Center
Jennifer San Nicolas, Accounting, was recently named Cass Regional Medical Center's Employee of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2023. Chief Executive Officer Chris Lang made the announcement during a reception.
“I was extremely shocked,” said San Nicolas regarding the recognition. “I am honored that a co-worker took the time to recognize me.”
San Nicolas, who has worked at Cass Regional for nearly three years, was nominated by a peer. She was selected as the Employee of the Quarter for positively representing Cass Regional’s mission and vision.
The nomination letter described San Nicolas as kind, helpful and hard-working. “She is always positive and she will do whatever she needs to do in order to help Cass Regional’s employees.”
San Nicolas said there are many reasons why she loves working at Cass Regional Medical Center. “The best part about working at Cass Regional is the interaction with patients and employees,” she said.
San Nicolas lives in Harrisonville with her dog Zeusy. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, glamping and fishing. She also previously volunteered as a cook for the Cass County Rescue Mission prior to its closure.
As Employee of the Quarter, San Nicolas received a paid day off, a designated parking space for the quarter, an Employee of the Quarter pin, a cake and flowers.
