Supernaw Named Employee of the Quarter at Cass Regional Medical Center
Gavin Supernaw, clinical analyst, was recently named Cass Regional Medical Center's Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2024. Chief Executive Officer Chris Lang made the announcement August 2, during a reception.
“I was shocked and also very excited,” said Supernaw regarding the recognition. “Hearing what my co-workers said about me in the nomination letter and how appreciative they are, I felt very honored.”
Supernaw, who has worked at Cass Regional for five years, was nominated by a department manager. He was selected as the Employee of the Quarter for positively representing Cass Regional’s mission and values.
The nomination letter described Supernaw as kind, hard-working and respectful. “Gavin truly cares about every person he comes in contact with. He has such a welcoming, positive attitude and personality.”
Gavin said the best part about working at Cass Regional is the strong sense of community and respectfulness among staff. “Everyone here is dedicated to providing the best possible care and it’s inspiring to be a part of it.”
Supernaw lives in Raymore. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, rock climbing, and spending time outdoors, including hiking, and going to the lake and festivals. He loves exploring new cities and trying foods he’s never had before.
As Employee of the Quarter, Supernaw received a paid day off, a designated parking space for the quarter, an Employee of the Quarter pin, a cake and a candy bouquet.
