Three Cass Regional employees graduate from MHA Leadership Series

Harrisonville, MO – Cass Regional Medical Center is proud to share that three staff members have graduated from the 2025 Missouri Hospital Association’s (MHA) Annual Health Care Leadership Series.

  • Casey Shultz, BSN, RN, OCN, Clinical Nurse Educator

The training consisted of curriculum designed to assist hospitals in developing effective internal leaders. Participants participated in monthly in-person training sessions throughout the year, learning about topics from leadership styles and conflict management to project management and healthcare education.

Tim, Courtney and Casey were selected for the program by leadership at Cass Regional because of their growth potential within the organization.

“We believe that in investing in internal leadership development strengths not just those who attend, but our entire organization,” said Jay Sebelien, Chief Nursing Officer at Cass Regional Medical Center. “Programs like the MHA Leadership Series help our leaders develop the skills needed to be successful in the respective roles. Our ultimate goal is to provide better patient outcomes and care to our patients and the community.”

Topics covered during the series are already making an impact at Cass Regional, from improving staff trainings to managing projects. Cass Regional is proud to have three graduates of the program making a difference in Cass County, showcasing our dedication to excellence.
