Wallace Retires After 21 Years at Cass Regional
Jennifer Wallace, Materials Management Manager at Cass Regional Medical Center, retired July 30 after 21 years of service to the organization.
Wallace began her career as the buyer for the Materials Management department in 2000 and was promoted to Materials Management manager.
“I will miss my coworkers the most,” said Wallace. “I will also miss the hospital’s grounds! It’s such a pretty hospital.”
Following her last day at Cass Regional, Wallace plans to help her husband part-time in the Medicare insurance field. She is looking forward to traveling, taking care of her new grandbaby, golfing, kayaking and spending time with friends and family.
Wallace said she has many fond memories made with her coworkers over the last 21 years at Cass Regional. “In fact,” Wallace said, “my work buddies and our positive relationships are what helps me keep a smile on my face!”
When asked what she would like to share with her coworkers before she retires, Wallace said, “Be passionate about your job. Be passionate about improving yourself. You are significant here and you can make a difference no matter what job you have!”
