The Dr. Harold E. Kirsch Memorial Scholarship program was established with a gift from the estate of Dr. Kirsch’s widow, Evelyn. Dr. Kirsch was a beloved family practice physician who cared for generations of Cass County community members before his death in 1977. Evelyn Kirsch passed away in 2003. At her request, her gift was used to create two endowed scholarship funds—one for a Cass Regional Medical Center employee to further their education in the field of health care, and the other for a Cass County high school graduate to further their education in the field of health care.
