Worley Named Employee of the Quarter at Cass Regional Medical Center
Jake Worley, BSRT (R)(MR), MRI technologist, was named Cass Regional Medical Center's Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2021. Chief Executive Officer Chris Lang made the announcement Wednesday, February 9.
“I was very surprised,” said Worley regarding the recognition. “My co-workers did a great job keeping the secret and surprised me by inviting my mom and girlfriend to the reception.”
Worley, who has worked at Cass Regional for two years, was nominated by a fellow employee. He was selected as the Employee of the Quarter for positively representing Cass Regional’s mission and vision.
The nomination letter described Worley as kind, respectful and knowledgeable. “Jacob is a kind and respectful young man that knows his modality and shows pride in his work by doing it right the first time.”
Worley said there are many reasons why he loves working at Cass Regional Medical Center. “The best part is that it doesn’t feel like work,” said Worley. “It is a very laid-back atmosphere.”
When asked what his favorite part about his specific job is, he said, “Creating new exam protocols so that we can scan a wide variety of MRIs.”
Worley started at Cass Regional as a student X-ray technologist in 2017. He graduated in May 2018 and passed his MRI boards in November 2018.
Worley lives in Kearney. In his spare time, he likes spending time with his girlfriend, Naunie, doing DIY projects around his house, and reading.
As Employee of the Quarter, Worley receives a paid day off, a designated parking space for the quarter, an Employee of the Quarter pin, a cake and balloons.
