Facility Improvements continue at Cass Regional
The first phase of a $2.1 million expansion and renovation project at Cass Regional Medical Center is now complete.
The finished areas include an expanded waiting area for laboratory and respiratory therapy patients and a larger lab reception work space. The first phase also features an additional blood draw station and a new blood bank room.
"We are very glad to offer our lab and respiratory therapy patients a larger, more aesthetically pleasing waiting area, while expanding our capabilities 'behind the scenes' to improve clinical services," said Chris Lang, CEO. "We greatly appreciate the ongoing support of our patients, visitors and staff as we continue toward our goal of providing the very best facilities possible."
The next phase of the project, which is currently underway, will include another blood draw station and a new microbiology room. The entire construction project, which also encompasses the new Mills Cancer and Rheumatology Center, is slated for completion in mid-2023.
