Richard Price, MD, and his wife, Linda, were so grateful for the cardiac rehabilitation he received at Cass Regional that they made a donation to the Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation to fund an all-body exerciser for the rehab area in 2022. Recently, they decided to contribute again—this time to fund a new recumbent elliptical machine.

"This new machine has so many wonderful features," said Terry Johns, RN, BSN, Cardiac Rehabilitation manager. "It targets both the upper and lower body, which allows the patient to get a great cardiovascular workout, and it can be used for arm and/or leg strength. We are so grateful to Dr. and Mrs. Price for this gift that will benefit many patients!"

Dr. Price serves as a family physician at Cass Regional's clinics in Archie, Garden City and Harrisonville. He has continued to faithfully attend cardiac rehabilitation, setting a great example for his patients.
