Infection prevention

At Cass Regional Medical Center, the health and safety of our patients, caregivers, and community is our top priority. We remain committed to being “Here for Your Health”.

Some of the ways we focus on providing you exceptional and safe patient care during and after your visit are:

  • Providing various hand sanitizer stations throughout the facility to enhance hand hygiene practices.
  • Offering telehealth options, so that care may be delivered in a virtual setting, if needed.
  • Using Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for all infectious patients.
  • Providing education to patients and their families about guidelines and how to reduce the ongoing transmission of infections during their hospital visit, and providing educational resources for when the patient goes home.
  • Providing ongoing support of patients through our outreach programs to facilitate the ongoing healing process after discharge, such as our diabetes education program, nutrition counseling, and our cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.

Urgent health care needs and vital health care procedures should not be ignored. It is both safe and necessary to receive medical attention at our sites of care.

As you prepare for your medical visit, it is also imperative that you and those in your household continue to follow current infection prevention guidance from the CDC, including vigilant hand hygiene.

Talk to your doctor if you have any concerns about your health or upcoming procedure.

Cass Regional Medical Center remains focused on providing you with exceptional care. We remain committed to being “Here for Your Health,” and we thank you for trusting us with your care.
