Respiratory services
Cass Regional's Respiratory Therapy Department offers various therapeutic and diagnostic services to meet our patients' needs. Our therapists are licensed by the state of Missouri, and our respiratory care practitioners are nationally accredited.
Services include:
- Respiratory treatments.
- Invasive and noninvasive ventilation.
- Pulmonary function testing.
- Blood gas analysis.
- Electrocardiograms.
- Cardiac Holter monitors.
- Pulmonary education.
Pulmonary rehabilitation
Cass Regional Medical Center's Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department consists of respiratory therapists who provide rehabilitation for patients along with information and support needed to meet the day-to-day challenges of living with a chronic lung disorder.
Hours
Cass Regional's Respiratory Therapy Department is available for some testing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Cass Regional's Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Specialists
Pulmonologists are specially trained in treating diseases and conditions of the lungs and respiratory tract, such as pneumonia, asthma, tuberculosis, emphysema or complicated chest infections. Pulmonologists also diagnose and treat certain sleep disorders.
